It has been a long day. Have a flower.

Today I got to volunteer with some of my cycling teammates at a water stop for a half-marathon. Then we went on a good bicycle ride to wash the taste of running out of our mouths.

Overall it was a pretty good day, I got to see my running teammates who ran the half-marathon, without actually having to run and then I got to ride bikes with the cycling team.

That has nothing to do with a snake in a jar, but that was the picture that I decided to use for the day.

Today I spent a good deal of time in my studio working on things. I haven’t made a wire tree in a long time and I’m still pretty new to it, but I came up with this one before I was done.

I tried a gorilla made of sprinkles today. It didn’t work out as well as I had hoped, but this is today’s picture.

Not sure what to say. The color orange is the color of the day. Not only is this picture very orange, but my apricot tree lost another branch and with it many orange apricots. They were a pain to clean up.

In the wax forest, the mighty velociraptor (velociraptorus papyrus) silently waits for an unsuspecting child to take a crayon. If the victim is not alert he or she is going to end up with a nasty paper cut.

We rode our annual ride for Matt today. At the cemetery I took a picture of Lauren and Donna. It was a good day on the bike. It was good to remember Matt and ride in his honor.

Hope is why we ride, hope that a cure for cancer will be found. So on the eve of the birthday ride for Matt, I just wanted to share some hope.

I guess I just want to put out some good vibes today. It has been a good day and I feel thankful for a lot of things and to all the people who support me from day to day.
